  • Assist with the discernment process for students who sense a call to ordained ministry.
  • Prepare development grants and annual budgets for the college campus ministries in the Diocese.

Church and Diocesan Responsibilities

  • Served on the Diocesan Executive Council from 2003-2006 as the clergy representative for the northwest diocesan convocation.
  • Served on the Diocesan Council for the Community of Hope.
  • Responsible for St. Paul’s newcomer and visitor ministry and parish integration.
  • Served at worship services (Holy Eucharist Rites I, II, III, and EOW, Morning Prayer, Funerals, Weddings); also provide supply service for northwest area churches including Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (ELCA).
  • Provided pre-marital counseling.
  • Provided spiritual direction.
  • Clergy liaison, teacher, and facilitator for the St. Paul Community of Hope.
  • Worked with parish pastoral care coordinator to provide pastoral care, visitations, and pastoral care meals for parishioners.
  • Provided parish reconciliation work on human sexuality and same-sex blessings for home parish and other parishes in the diocese.
