Sermons by (The Rev.) William G. Stroop, Ph.D.
The Episcopal Church currently uses a version of the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) authorized by the Church's 74th General Convention (click here to access the Episcopal version of the RCL). The RCL is the most widely used lectionary in the Protestant tradition, and the Episcopal version of the RCL is similar to that used by other Protestant churches. The lectionary repeats over a three-year cycle beginning with Advent (Advent starts in November of the year preceding the calendar year). We are currently in Year A. You can find the liturgical (church) year for any of my regular sermons using the table below. Sermons preached on special occasions or at Morning Prayer are also available.
